Greetings from France!

I’m writing this as we roll off the ferry at Calais heading to Lille on the first stop of our inaugural European tour! We’ve barely had time to wind down from another epic festival season, but had probably just enough to scrape off the mud from our clothes and put the wellington boots and tents to bed until next years madness ensues.

What a great summer it was though! Thank you for your continued support and dedication to the band. It just wouldn’t be the same without it.

After we get back from Europe we go straight into our UK tour. We’re going as far and wide as possible to get to your town or city right up until the end of the year, including our first ever shows in Ireland!

Lastly, and rather pleasingly, we’re delighted to announce (unless you haven”t heard elsewhere) that we are releasing festival favourite ‘Sundial’ as a single on October 17th on a beautiful 7″ heavyweight vinyl with ‘On the Rails’ on the flip side. The artwork has once again been conceived by masterful David Shillinglaw.

The new 7″ vinyl is available for pre-order now from our website shop. It’s a limited edition run so grab one while you can.

It has already been played on Mary Anne Hobb’s show on XFM, 6Music and Absolute but please get texting and mailing into your favourite shows requesting to hear ‘Sundial’ on the radio waves!

You can download the new videos and vote on our website for your favourite between the two tracks. Those who vote for the ‘winning’ song (the one with the most votes) will get a special prize.

Anyway, thats enough for now. We have an adventure to be getting on with! Keep an eye out for video blogs on Facebook and a tour diary that i’m doing for the Independent about a week or so into the tour.

Right, time to go. I have to get my french in order before we meet the Lille promoters mum who is hosting us this evening.
